Community Design Fort Worth's main purpose is to engage the public to create a more inclusive and equitable city by focusing on ideas and concepts not addressed by either the public or private sector. All too often community members' voices are the last to be brought into conversations on development and planning in their area. We want to help change that.

In March of 2021, Community Design Fort Worth downloaded the phase 1 results of the Community Vision Survey. On May 20th at our first Urban Design Talk about Asset Based Community Development, we presented our data findings, focusing on what Fort Worthians LOVE, as well as who was missing from the survey.

Phase 1 of our Community Vision Survey is now complete!

Community Design Fort Worth will take the next month to compile the data we have received from community members of Fort Worth so we can get a snap shot of what our community LOVES, what NEEDS IMPROVEMENT, and their BIG IDEAS!

We will also be looking at who is missing - what areas are we missing? What communities have we not heard from? This will help inform how we roll out Phase 2!

Missed your chance to leave your feedback? The survey isn't closed! We are still accepting feedback -- just go to designfortworth.org/fort-worth-vision to interact!

Only through community-led design can we truly create impact and equity for all citizens of Fort Worth. Thank you to all the organizations listed below for joining CDFW last week to learn about our new NEW Community Vision survey tool and how to share it with their constituents to gather ALL the voices of our community.
